All Checked Off

Monday afternoon and I have managed to check off every item on my list !

These are the Christmas Stockings made  to order for a blended family.

And then I finished off the shawl , cowl and an infinity scarf for ED's Outlander Wine party.
So now I'm back yo working on my quilt.

Hubby is still organizing his garage. He went to the recycling centre to put in his oil etc. But it was closed today ! Good thing garbage is tomorrow as he has another bag of trash to get rid of. Finally he has removed wood that he had standing in front of the window !  Now if he can do the same in the basement I will be most pleased.

I've had a devil of a time doing photos. Apparently Picasa is no more, ending in May although I have used it since ! So today I 'faffed' around with Google photos.

Just noticed that the renters next door now have a cat ! Or at least the girlfriend that has stayed over has one. No wonder I've been chasing cats out of my flower beds. I know they are NOT allowed pets as the former tenants wrecked the house and yard with pets and machinery. Now these new tenants seem to be very neat although they do have an extra truck and quads parked on the grass in their yard. The owner spent a small fortune redoing all the flooring- he put in laminate flooring all by himself and a new bathroom. I'll wait and see if the cat remains and I will phone him.

Off to read for a bit before I make pounded pork for supper. ES and YS have baseball tonight so we this is the night we have pork. YS does not like pork although he loves bacon, ham and sausages !! Pounded pork is just tenderloin cut thin and coated with breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic and Parmesan cheese. In the winter I would bake it, but I'll sauté them lightly tonight .

I may cook some pirogues that YS can heat up when he comes home. That is if they end up playing as we are under a severe thunderstorm watch. Tomorrow I must do something with  the 3 ice cream pails of cherries totally around 15 pounds.

Off to read and watch the Olympics.
